Indulge in a classic favorite with our Simple and Easy Spaghetti with Meatballs recipe! Tender meatballs simmered in a savory marinara sauce, served over al dente spaghetti noodles for a comforting and satisfying meal that's perfect for any occasion. Ingredients:


🍝 400 g spaghetti

🍅 1 can of crushed tomato (400 g)

   1 onion (chopped)

   2 cloves of garlic (chopped)

🍖 500 g of ground meat (beef or mixed)

🧀 50 g grated parmesan cheese (more to serve)

🍞 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

🍳 1 egg

🌿 Fresh parsley (chopped)

🌶️ Salt and pepper to taste

   Olive oil


Instructions:


1️⃣ Cook the pasta: Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve.


2️⃣ Prepare the meatballs: In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, Parmesan cheese, egg, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt and pepper. Form small meatballs with the mixture.


3️⃣ Brown the meatballs: In a large skillet, heat a little olive oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs and brown on all sides until cooked.


4️⃣ Prepare the sauce: In the same pan, add the chopped onion and garlic. Cook until golden. Add the crushed tomato and season with salt and pepper. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes.


5️⃣ Add the meatballs: Put the meatballs back in the pan with the sauce. Simmer for another 10 minutes to absorb the flavor.


6️⃣ Combine with spaghetti: Serve the spaghetti on plates and cover with the sauce and meatballs.


7️⃣ Decorate and serve: Sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese on top and decorate with fresh parsley. Ready to enjoy!


Tips:


If you prefer a thicker sauce, cook the crushed tomatoes for a little longer.

You can use pork or a mix of beef and pork for the meatballs for more flavor.

Add a touch of red wine to the sauce for a deeper flavor.
