🍄 Meatballs in Mushroom Cream🍄
Ingredients:
For the meatballs:
🐄 500g ground beef or mixed meat (beef and pork)
🥚 1 egg
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 onion, chopped
🌿 A few sprigs of fresh parsley, chopped
🥄 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
Salt and pepper to taste
For the cream of mushroom soup:
🍄 300g fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
🧀 200ml cooking cream
🍲 1 cup chicken broth
🥄 2 tablespoons olive oil
🌿 A few sprigs of fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1️⃣ Prepare the meatballs: In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, egg, garlic, onion, parsley, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper. Form meatballs the size of a walnut.
2️⃣ Cook the meatballs: In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Cook the meatballs until they are golden brown on all sides and cooked through the inside. Remove and reserve.
3️⃣ Sauté the vegetables: In the same pan, heat the other tablespoon of olive oil. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until tender.
4️⃣ Add the mushrooms: Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook until golden.
5️⃣ Prepare the sauce: Add the chicken broth to the pan and cook until the mushrooms are tender.
6️⃣ Add the cream: Add the cooking cream and stir until the sauce thickens a little.
7️⃣ Add the meatballs again: Return the meatballs to the pan and cook over low heat for 10 minutes so they are soaked in the sauce.
8️⃣ Serve and decorate: Serve hot and decorate with fresh chopped parsley on top.
Tips:
**You can add other spices such as paprika or cumin to the meat mixture for more flavor.
**Serve with rice, pasta or mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
