Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) beef or chicken, thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions:

  1. 1. Season the sliced meat with salt and pepper.

  2. 2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced meat and cook until browned and cooked through.
  3. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. 3. In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed, then add the sliced onion and minced garlic. Cook until softened and fragrant, about 2 minutes.
