Ingredients:
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb broccoli, cut into florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch to create the sauce.
2. Season shrimp with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the shrimp until they turn pink. Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.
3. In the same pan, add another tablespoon of oil. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add broccoli florets and stir-fry for a few minutes until they become tender but still crisp.
4. Return the cooked shrimp to the pan with the broccoli.
5. Pour the sauce over the shrimp and broccoli. Stir well to coat everything evenly and let it cook for a few more minutes until the sauce thickens.
6. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
7. Serve the Chinese Shrimp and Broccoli over steamed rice.
