- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon of Sriracha sauce (optional)
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Nori sheets (seaweed), cut into small squares for serving (optional)
Instructions:
- 1. Drain the tuna and place it in a mixing bowl.
- 2. Add mayonnaise, soy sauce, sesame oil, and Sriracha sauce (if using) to the tuna. Mix well to combine.
- 3. Peel and dice the avocado. Dice the cucumber as well.
- 4. In a separate bowl, mix the diced avocado and cucumber.
- 5. To assemble the tuna stack, start by placing a ring mold or cookie cutter on a plate.
- 6. Spoon a layer of cooked sushi rice into the mold, pressing it down gently to create an even layer.
- 7. Next, add a layer of the tuna mixture on top of the rice, pressing it down gently.
- 8. Follow with a layer of the avocado and cucumber mixture.
- 9. Carefully lift the mold off the plate, leaving the layered stack intact.
- 10. Garnish the top with sesame seeds for added flavor and texture.
- 11. Optionally, you can wrap a small strip of nori around the tuna stack for an authentic sushi presentation.
- 12. Repeat the process to make additional tuna stacks if desired.
- 13. Serve immediately and enjoy your tasty tuna stack.
