easy recipe for chocolate cake

Ingredients:
- 1 and 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup boiling water
Instructions:
- 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- 2. In a large mixing bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- 3. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes until well combined.
- 4. Stir in the boiling water. The batter will be thin, but that's okay.
- 5. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans.
- 6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- 7. Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove from the pans and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- 8. Once cooled, you can frost the cake with your favorite frosting or enjoy it as is.
