Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil (or any other oil of your choice)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions:

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.


  2. 2. In a bowl, combine rolled oats, whole wheat flour, almond flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.


  3. 3. In another bowl, mix together coconut oil, honey or maple syrup, mashed bananas, vanilla extract, and Greek yogurt.


  4. 4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.

  1. 5. Fold in chopped nuts if using.

  2. 6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.


  3. 7. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.


  4. 8. Allow the cake to cool before slicing.
